IPSA Group

After 25 years of history, the Grupo IPSA has turned into a solid multinational and is in constant expansion, thanks to its specialization and commitment with its clients.

IPSA is a Spanish company established in 1983, which develops software solutions for capture and documental management.

At the beginning of the 90s, IPSA starts its activity in the development of documental technology and creates the first version of Atril®, its software platform for the digitalization, capture and automated management of data contained in paper documents and electronic objects, which introduces in the market the possibility of creating massive capture systems.

In 1995 IPSA starts its expansion in Latin-America through diverse projects in the banking sector where IPSA implements its Atril® technology for processing payment documents.

With its headquarters in Madrid, in 1997 IPSA inaugurates its delegation in Buenos Aires, and after that follow up in 1998 the opening of the office in Mexico D.F., in 2002, in Sao Paolo and San Juan of Puerto Rico in the year 2003.

During the past five years, Grupo IPSA has experienced a strong growth turning into a solid technological business group.

As such, in the year 2005 it incorporated into the group, Concentronic, a company with more than 28 years of experience in the design, development and implementation of telecommunication systems for telephone services and financial trading rooms which turned out to be called IPSA Soluciones de Convergencia. With the incorporation to the Grupo IPSA and following the strategic line of creating its own technical solutions, IPSA Soluciones de Convergencia has developed ComVergia® its own technological platform for capture and voice management. IPSA Soluciones de Convergencia, as well, makes up telecommunication teams with its partners: Verint, Avaya, CosmoCom...

Grupo IPSA acquired in 2007 10% of the participation of the Italian company Label Formazione S.R.L, a company which operated in the training market both at a Public Administration level as well as private organizations.

Before this merger, Grupo IPSA already worked with Label Formazione in the development of an e-Learning platform specially designed to offer certified training in the Atril® platform.

In the year 2007 the Grupo IPSA acquired ACT, technological company with headquarters in Puerto Rico with broad experience in business solutions, outsourcing, consulting services and training, furthermore it also commercializes with the Atril and ComVergia technological solutions developed by the companies of the group. With this acquisition the IPSA group has consolidated its global services supply.

The year 2008 has meant a consolidation of the strategic lines marked during the past year.
