Project Management Institute (PMI) is the organization responsible for establishing the norms and principles generally accepted for an optimum administration of projects. The PMI has carried out a contribution of great value with the publication of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), documents which contain all the norms and principles generally accepted for the superior administration of projects.
The certification of the Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI is the credential of Project Management most recognized worldwide. In 1999, the Department of Certification of the PMI received the ISO 9001 Certification in Quality Management Systems, being the first department of the Professional Certification in receiving this recognition at a worldwide level.
Advanced Computer Technology (ACT) is one of the founders of the Puerto Rico Chapter for the PMI and since 1999, is a “Registered Education Provider” (R.E.P) authorized by the PMI in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to offer courses in Project Management.

The Fundamentals of Project Management course includes the materials used in the classroom in an individual folder, the PMBOK or Fundamental Guide, tests by subject, practice exercises, one (1) CD with stencil of basic methodology of project management forms and participation certificate.
The Preparation for the PMP Certification course includes a folder with material to present at each session, reviews and techniques to answer the exam, a CD with practice exams with over 1,300 questions and a participation certificate.
Accordingly with the new version of the Project Management Body of Knowledge fourth edition. ACT develops the PMP courses calendars for the preparation of the PMP certification exam.
